I now look my best ever in my bunny costume!! |

"As a Playboy Playmate, I have to look my best in promotional appearances. I got a wonderful booking for a red carpet event but was
given the ultimatum, 'Look your very best or no more bookings!' I had to act fast and get in shape to wear my 'bunny bikini.' I did my
research and luckily found a Pilates studio in Coral Springs that offered the highest quality of Pilates instruction in South Florida.
I chose Fran Perel, owner of Parkland Pilates of Coral Springs because she has so much Pilates teaching experience and Pilates certifications.
I knew doing Pilates classes would be my life saver and it would be worth the one hour ride to do Pilates in Coral Springs daily. I was able
to get lean and toned in only one month of Pilates classes. Parkland Pilates of Coral Springs has the most variety of Pilates classes in
Coral Springs and at so many convenient times, I was able to do a combination of Pilates mat, Pilates sculpt and Pilates equipment classes
5 days a week. Not only that, I found that I had a fabulous new rear, all muscle, that I didn't have before! Fran Perel makes Pilates
classes so much fun; she makes you work and still laugh and is so motivating! She always changes up the Pilates exercises, no more routine
workouts at the gym! Oh yes, before I forget, I got maximum attention in small group Pilates classes and at the most amazing lowest price
in Coral Springs or anywhere else in the South Florida area. I also gained an inch in height thanks to my better posture and stretching from
Pilates.
Thank you Parkland Pilates of Coral Springs and Fran Perel. I now look my best ever in my bunny costume!!"

Our Pilates exercises are based on the principle that you must strengthen and stabilize
your center or core while you mobilize the peripheral
parts of the body (meaning moving your arms and legs). Pilatesculpt®
was developed and trademarked by Fran Perel with the understanding that
the center or the core should be the source or initiation of movement. In doing
a shoulder press, for example,
the strength to lift the weight comes not only from the shoulder muscles. The
energy to lift the weight is initiated from the core as all the principles
of Pilates, including breathing, are applied to the movement.
Pilates is one of the best workouts to give you the longest, leanest body and sleekest
abs ever. Body Sculpting with light weights and other assorted apparatus creates
unparalleled muscle tone and definition.
Pilatesculpt® takes
a completely unique approach to body conditioning. This skillful combination,
blending Pilates with Body Sculpting into a one-of-a-kind workout is
designed to tone and tighten each and every muscle in your body. Pilatesculpt® makes
the most of your time and delivers maximum results. This unique mix
is a shortcut to your ultimate, longest, leanest and tightest body
ever.
The
truth of the matter is that Pilates cannot do it all. There is no question
that Pilates exercise is outstanding for building a strong
core, increasing flexibility and creating long, lean and toned muscles; however,
the studies show that as we age, among other things, we lose muscle mass and
bone density, and our metabolism begins to slow down. The good news is that
there are certain determinants of aging we can control and/or slow down. That's
where Pilatesculpt® comes in. Pilates can help you increase balance
and flexibility. As opposed to shrinking in height as one ages, Pilates can
help you maintain, if not even gain in height. Your spine will be aligned,
lengthened and strengthened. Strength training and Body Sculpting exercises
are crucial to weight control because individuals who have more muscle mass
have a higher metabolic rate. Muscle is active tissue that consumes calories
while stored fat uses very little energy. Strength training can provide up
to a 15% increase in metabolic rate, which is enormously helpful in weight
loss. Results conducted from a study at Tufts University, which were published
in the Journal of the American Medical Association, showed that strength
training greatly increases bone density.
Both
Pilates and Body Sculpting strength training can lead to a healthy state of
mind. Pilates is a mind-body form of exercise. The more
you can link your mind to your body, the better your performance will be. Not
only that, the more you concentrate on your workout and not your problems,
the more refreshed and relaxed you will feel as a result. Strength training
provides similar improvements in depression as anti-depressant medications.
People feel better when they are stronger and strength training produces helpful
biochemical changes in the brain. The combination of the benefits of Pilates
and strengthening muscle through Body Sculpting will improve self-confidence,
self-esteem and overall quality of life.
